Connect with Claude Desktop

The easiest way to connect — no token needed. Claude Desktop will prompt you to sign in.

  1. Open Claude Desktop → Settings → Connectors
  2. Click Add → Add custom connector
  3. Set Name to Retrace and URL to https://retrace-zeta.vercel.app/mcp
  4. Click Add — Claude will open a sign-in page automatically

How tokens work

  • •Tokens start with rt_ and authenticate your MCP server with our API
  • •Each token is hashed before storage — we never see your raw token
  • •You can create multiple tokens (one per machine) and revoke them individually
  • •Without a token, the MCP server runs in local-only mode (SQLite)
